Preventive Cardiology Course Description
The Fellowship in Preventive Cardiology is a comprehensive, CPD-accredited program designed to equip doctors with the skills needed to prevent, detect, and manage cardiovascular diseases at an early stage. With cardiovascular diseases being the leading cause of mortality globally, this program focuses on shifting clinical practice from treatment to prevention—helping doctors intervene before complications arise.
India is currently witnessing a sharp rise in cardiovascular diseases, especially among younger populations. The increasing prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and sedentary lifestyles makes preventive cardiology a critical skill for every modern clinician.
Medigrad’s Preventive Cardiology Fellowship is designed to bridge this gap by offering in-depth knowledge of cardiovascular risk assessment, lifestyle interventions, pharmacological management, and early diagnostic strategies. The program empowers doctors to reduce disease burden, improve patient outcomes, and build a future-ready clinical practice.
