eSRH is available online so you can study in the workplace, at home or even on the move. The programme has been developed by the UK Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH), part of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and NHS England elearning for healthcare.
The sexual and reproductive health programme consists of 15 modules on different topics. Each module is made up of a number of bite-sized sessions. Each session takes around 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Modules cover topics such as basic anatomy and physiology, consent and history taking, contraceptive choices, emergency contraception, complications and side effects from contraception, planning a pregnancy, early pregnancy and unintended pregnancy and abortion.
Further modules cover sexually transmitted infections (STIs), needs of specific groups, adult and child/young person safeguarding/child protection, psychosexual medicine, cervical screening as well as additional training material on subdermal implants (SDIs) and intrauterine contraception (IUC).
