Course Description
The Radiology – Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) is a high-quality e-learning resource for radiologists around the globe.
You can choose from more 750 interactive sessions that cover all aspects of radiology. The program offers ideal preparation for FRCR* and equivalent examinations. It is also suitable for fully qualified clinicians looking to reinforce or strengthen core knowledge.
The Radiology-Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) is an e-learning resource available via the e-LfH Hub to approximately 5600 UK radiologists. With over 650 hours of e-learning and around 800 e-learning sessions, it is one of the largest e-learning projects in the world. The original project also incorporated the setting up of radiology academies and a validated case archive.
The award-winning R-ITI e-learning resource was developed in the UK by Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare (HEE e-LfH) in collaboration with the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
Written by expert radiologists and based around the core radiology curriculum, R-ITI is an essential tool for radiology trainees. R-ITI is designed to support and enhance the learning of ST1-3 specialist registrars on the five-year radiology training scheme. The program offers ideal preparation for the Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and equivalent examinations.
R-ITI can also be used by fully qualified clinicians or consultant radiologists looking to reinforce strengthen or maintain core knowledge.
The core RCR curriculum is broken down into 15 modules by subject area covering all aspects of radiology.

Pediatric Bone: Upper Body: This session covers the skull, axial skeleton, and upper limbs of pediatric bone scans.
Vestibular_ Schwannomas: In this session, we will cover the anatomy of the cerebellopontine angle (CPA) and the common types of CPA lesions with emphasis on vestibular schwannomas. We will briefly discuss the presentation of such lesions and the strategy for their investigation, including the role of computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and advanced MRI sequences.
Cardiac Tumors: In this session, you will learn about the more common types of cardiac tumors. The imaging approach in these patients is discussed and the cross-sectional imaging appearances of some of these tumors are presented.
The radiology (R-ITI) online elearning programme consists of a number of modules that are divided up into smaller elearning sessions. Each session typically takes around 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
After an introduction guiding the learner on how to make the most of the programme a series of modules cover the subjects of imaging cardiac, thoracic-respiratory, vascular & interventional, musculoskeletal & trauma, gastro-intestinal, breast, gynaecology-obstetrics, and genito-urinary & adrenal.
A specific module of paediatric imaging is followed by head & neck, neuroradiology and radionuclide radiology.
Finally, modules of basic science, physics and professional skills complete the programme.
Clinical oncology pathway
A specific pathway has also been created relating to oncology. This standalone pathway features around 100 dedicated oncology sessions from the R-ITI programme. This pathway is suitable for all healthcare professionals working in oncology. It is included in the full R-ITI programme or available to purchase as a separate individual module.

- The learning sessions include clinical diagrams, images, clips and self-assessment questions, to help reinforce learning and understanding.
- For one full year, you can view the learning sessions and refer to it whenever you like.
- Upon completion of all learning modules and self-assessment tasks, an e-certificate will be awarded.

What is the procedure after enrolment?
- You will receive a welcome mail with your login credentials for the program, guidebook, and course curriculum, highlighting important dates to keep in mind within 48 hours on your registered email id.
- You can begin a self-paced study, completing the modules as per the program schedule.
How to access the course material online and do you provide study material in hard copy as well?
Once you complete the enrolment process, you will be provided with a unique student id and login details. If in case you haven’t received the same within 48 working hours from the support team, please feel free to call us on +91-9810122818 or write to us on support@medigrad.com. You will get the hard copy of the study material at your postal address in 5-7 working days. All International students will also receive the study material by paying additional courier charges of USD 150* and with due condition of courier service available in their country.
Can I submit my certificate at a later date after enrolment or can I enrol by providing my provisional certificates?
Certificates are a proof of your educational credentials this will be required for the enrolment. However in case of any difficulty you may give a written undertaking to that effect for providing the certificates within the stipulated time frame.

Is it a recognized program by the Medical Council ?
The medical council has no jurisdiction over any programme delivered via online or blended learning platforms. These fellowship programmes are not intended to be a substitute for formal medical education or specialisation. Nonetheless, it seeks to provide doctors with the knowledge and tools they need to support and improve their patient care skills.
Is this completely an online course? Do I need to attend any classes or training?
Many of the courses are available through a blended learning platform from your date of joining the program. The course is followed by an online and practical training at our partnered hospitals. There are pre-recorded video sessions & Live Case Studies based webinars with expert faculties.
