What kind of certification will I receive?
Upon completion of the advance neonatal fellowship program from Medigrad, successful participants will be awarded with 2 certifications-
(i) Advance Fellowship in Neonatology from Medigrad (Singapore) with The CPD Standards (UK) accreditation
(ii) Advance Fellowship in Neonatology from The CPD Standards (UK) – with 60 CPD hours
Both the certificates will be issued online and original hardcopy will be sent through post, are valid for lifetime and are verifiable online.

Can I submit my certificate at a later date after enrolment into advance neonatal fellowship or can I enroll by providing my provisional certificates?
Certificates are a proof of your educational credentials that will be required for the enrolment. However, in case of any difficulty you may give a written undertaking to that effect for providing the certificates within the stipulated time frame.
What is the procedure after enrolment into the Medigrad’s advance neonatal fellowship?

Is it a recognized program by the Medical Council of India ?
The Medical Council on India has no jurisdiction over any programme delivered via online or blended learning platforms. These fellowship courses are not intended to be a substitute for formal medical education or specialization. Nonetheless, it seeks to provide doctors with the knowledge and tools they need to support and improve their patient care skills.
Can Indian foreign medical graduates apply for the Medigrad’s Advance Neonatal Fellowship?
Indian foreign medical graduates first need to clear FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination), i.e. a screening test for international medical graduates to be eligible to obtain the registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC) & practice medicine in the country. Once the registration certificate is obtained, the Indian foreign medical graduate can apply for Medigrad’s Advance Neonatal Fellowship.

Dr. Sridhar Kalyanasundaram completed his medical training at Stanley Medical College, Chennai, and specialized in Pediatrics and Neonatology from JIPMER and PGIMER, India. He earned his MRCPCH (UK) and FRCPCH, and has been on the UK General Medical Council's Specialist Register since 2005. He worked as a Consultant Neonatologist at prestigious hospitals in the UK, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, and is currently a Consultant at Al Jowhara Hospital, UAE. He has been an MRCPCH examiner since 2010 and is an NRP instructor.
