Is it a recognized program by the Medical Council of India ?
The medical council has no jurisdiction over any program delivered via online or blended learning platforms. These online fellowship courses are not intended to be a substitute for formal medical education or specialization. Nonetheless, it seeks to provide doctors with the knowledge and tools they need to support and improve their patient care skills.
Can Indian foreign medical graduates apply for the Medigrad’s Fellowship in Infectious Diseases?
Indian foreign medical graduates first need to clear FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination), i.e. a screening test for international medical graduates to be eligible to obtain the registration certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC) & practice medicine in the country.
