Management of Respiratory Emergencies
This course is designed to train healthcare providers to manage respiratory emergencies. With the help of this course participants will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victims of life threatening respirtory emergencies leading to respiratory failure. This course helps the healthcare providers to implement their theoretical knowledge in the management of respiratory emergencies encountered in day to day practive.
The course gives them an opportunity to perform various interventions on an advanced high fidelity medical simulator (HPS) which is so physiological that it responds to the various interventions like Connecting to a ventilator, ICD insertion etc.
It helps them to understand the importance of effecting team wotk and communication during resuscitations. This course includes training on crisis resource management as well.
Eligible Participants:
- Undergraduate Interns, Post graduate Residents (General Medicine, Emergency Medicine,Pulmonary Medicine)
